Different types of sustainable fabric and buttons we use at Noroke:

  • 1. Bamboo Fabric - As a fibre, bamboo is a natural cellulosic regenerated biodegradable environment friendly textile material. It feels like cotton and has natural shine.
  • 2. Bemberg Fabric - Bemberg fabric, often referred toas "vegan silk" is a regenerated cellulose fibre derived from cotton linter. It feels like silk.
  • 3. Linen Fabric - Linen fabric is a fabric made from flax fibres, a plant that thrives in cooler and more humid climates.
  • 4. Mushroom Fabric - The fabric made from the mushroom plant is thin and flexible in nature and is very comfortable to wear.
  • 5. Recycled polyester – We use recycled polyester in our swimwear collection. It is also known as rPET, is obtained by melting down existing plastic bottles and re-spinning it into new polyester fibre.
  • 6. Modal Fabric - The fabric is made by spinning the cellulose from the beech tree. Modal feels soft, is smooth and similar to Silk in texture.
  • 7. Corozo Buttons - We use stunning Corozo buttons. Crafted from Corozo Fruit Ecuador which are not only stylish but also eco-friendly.
